Max in May 2024 is bringing a fresh lineup of TV shows and movies. Get ready for around 80 new titles, including Pretty Little Liars: Summer School and the movie adaptation of Turtles All the Way Down.

On May 9, the second season of Pretty Little Liars: Summer School premieres, continuing the thrilling saga after the events of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin. Brace yourself for new twists and a new villain, testing the show’s beloved characters. Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, and Maia Reficco return for the next chapter.

Also coming to Max is Season 3 of the Emmy-winning comedy Hacks. Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) is riding high off the success of her standup special, while Ava (Hannah Einbinder) pursues new opportunities in Los Angeles. The series features a talented cast including Paul W. Downs, Megan Stalter, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Kaitlin Olson, Christopher McDonald, Mark Indelicato, Tony Goldwyn, and more.

A24’s Iron Claw, directed by Season Durkin, arrives on May 10. This biographical sports drama is based on the true story of the Von Erich family, a wrestling dynasty that made a significant mark on the sports world in the early 1980s. Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, Harris Dickinson, and Stanley Simons star as the Von Erich brothers, led by their father, Fritz Von Erich (Holt McCallany).

Fans of John Green’s bestselling novel can look forward to the movie adaptation of Turtles All the Way Down. Starring Isabela Merced, Cree Cicchino, and Felix Mallard, the film follows 17-year-old Ava, who is living with OCD and anxiety. When she reconnects with her childhood crush, Davis, Ava is faced with questions about love, happiness, friendship, and hope.
