The closed beta for Arena Breakout Infinite, which has been extended multiple times due to its success, is set to conclude next week on June 28. For those who have not yet participated, there is one final opportunity to join through Twitch drops.
Matchmaking for Arena Breakout Infinite will be disabled at 3 am UTC on June 28, equivalent to 4 am BST on June 28 or 11 pm ET/8 pm PT on June 27. An hour later, all servers will be taken offline, ending ongoing matches. Following this, access to Arena Breakout Infinite will be unavailable until later in the year.
However, for those who have not yet accessed the beta, there is good news. A final round of Twitch drops will take place later today. At 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT, the last round of Twitch drops will be available, with the same requirements as previous drops. Viewers will need to watch an hour of gameplay, claim a drop through Twitch, and then redeem the code on the Arena Breakout Infinite website for access.
Players who already have access may want to consider participating one last time before the beta concludes. On June 21, all players will receive 500,000 Koens to use in-game, and on June 22, a new in-game event called High Roller Frenzy will begin. Streamers and content creators will attempt to achieve a higher loot value than the top five totals recorded by normal players. Players are encouraged to participate and set high scores in-game.
After more than a month of being active and significantly extended, the conclusion of the Arena Breakout Infinite beta seems timely. Many players have left due to a lack of content. The development team has promised to add more content for future tests and the full release.
Despite some minor improvements during testing, Arena Breakout Infinite still falls short of Escape From Tarkov, the game it aims to emulate. To truly challenge the genre’s leading game, Arena Breakout Infinite needs to make significant changes before release. Additionally, with Level Zero: Extraction proving to be a solid Tarkov competitor, the competition is fiercer than ever.
