Apple Vision Pro Expands: Pre-Orders Open in 5 New Countries

Apple Vision Pro

Apple’s Vision Pro is taking its next big step internationally. Following its recent launch in China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore on June 28, Apple has now expanded its reach by opening pre-orders in five new countries: Canada, Germany, France, Australia, and the U.K. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming release.

Apple Vision Pro is set to launch on Friday, July 12, in these new markets. As anticipation builds, customers can now schedule a 30-minute personal demo to experience the headset firsthand. For those in the U.K., Apple is offering the opportunity to book a one-on-one demo session through the Apple Store online, beginning on the same day. The sessions will take place at Apple Store locations across the country, where Apple team members will assist customers in finding the ideal fit and setting up the device. During the demo, users will explore Vision Pro’s extensive features, including its advanced spatial computing capabilities, immersive entertainment experiences, and a versatile canvas for various apps.

Purchasing the Apple Vision Pro can be done online through Apple’s website, with additional support available via chat or phone. To place an order, customers will need an iPhone or iPad equipped with Face ID and the latest version of the Apple Store app to complete a face scan. This scan ensures the headset fits perfectly by determining the optimal Light Seal and headband sizes. For those requiring vision correction, Apple has partnered with ZEISS to create ZEISS Optical Inserts, which magnetically attach to the Vision Pro. These inserts are designed to enhance the display’s sharpness and clarity, accommodating users with different vision needs.

In addition to the device itself, Apple is highlighting the Vision Pro App Store, which now boasts over 2,000 apps. The platform also supports more than 1.5 million compatible iOS and iPad apps, with additional functionality for Mac users through the Mac Virtual Display, which integrates seamlessly with the Vision Pro.

In the U.K., the Vision Pro will be available starting at £3,499, while in Canada, it will be priced at $4,999, and in Australia, it will cost $5,999. In France and Germany, the starting price is €3,999. The headset will come with the latest visionOS 1.2 software. For those needing vision correction, ZEISS Optical Inserts are available for £99 in the U.K., with prescription inserts priced at £149.

Apple’s expansion into these new markets reflects the growing global interest in its cutting-edge spatial computing technology. As the release date approaches, customers in these regions will have the opportunity to experience the revolutionary capabilities of the Vision Pro and integrate it into their daily lives.
