NAD Masters M10 V3: A New Standard in Amplification

NAD Masters M10 V3 BluOS

NAD Electronics has launched the latest addition to its esteemed Masters series, the NAD Masters M10 V3 BluOS Streaming Amplifier. This new model promises enhanced performance and incorporates cutting-edge audio technologies, marking a significant advancement in the brand’s lineup. With a sleek design featuring a full-color touchscreen display and a brushed aluminum chassis, the M10 V3 is not only functional but visually striking, appealing to both audiophiles and casual listeners alike.

At the heart of the M10 V3 is a powerful nCore amplification system that delivers an impressive 100 watts per channel. This power output is complemented by the incorporation of an industry-leading ESS SABRE ES9039 DAC, which ensures a wider dynamic range and significantly lower distortion. These advancements enable the M10 V3 to deliver a pristine listening experience across various audio formats, from high-resolution digital streams to classic vinyl records.

Cas Oostvogel, Product Manager at NAD Electronics, expressed enthusiasm about the M10 V3, noting that the original M10, released in 2019, exceeded their expectations in both design and performance. He explained, “The M10 V3 builds on this success through the advancement of new DAC technology and blending the convenience of modern music streaming with the rich listening experience of vinyl.” This combination of modern and classic audio experiences is a hallmark of NAD’s approach, appealing to a diverse range of music lovers.

One of the standout features of the M10 V3 is its HybridDigital amplifier, which utilizes advanced nCore technology. This technology not only produces 100 watts of continuous power per channel into 8Ω and 4Ω loads but also delivers an impressive 160 watts of dynamic power into 8Ω. NAD claims that the amplifier produces virtually zero noise or distortion, allowing for an unparalleled audio experience. The M10 V3’s audio circuitry is meticulously designed around the new ESS SABRE ES9039 DAC, a digital-to-analog converter renowned for its excellent dynamic range and ultra-low distortion characteristics.

For connectivity, the M10 V3 offers a comprehensive array of inputs and outputs. This includes a dedicated MM phono input that incorporates RIAA equalization, allowing users to recreate the warm, rich sound associated with vinyl records. Additionally, the amplifier is equipped with a USB Type-A input for connecting computers or music drives, as well as RCA stereo inputs, optical and coaxial digital inputs, and an HDMI eARC connection. The HDMI input enhances the audio experience for television, games, and movies, making the M10 V3 a versatile choice for both music and home theater setups.

A significant highlight of the M10 V3 is its integration with BluOS, a multi-room music platform. Users can control the amplifier seamlessly from their smartphones, tablets, or desktops, allowing for easy navigation of their music libraries and streaming services. The M10 V3 supports most major music streaming services and internet radio stations, providing a vast selection of audio content. Furthermore, it can stream high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/192kHz, ensuring that users enjoy their music in the best possible quality.

The amplifier’s compatibility with other BluOS-enabled speakers and audio systems allows users to create a comprehensive multi-room music setup throughout their homes. The BluOS platform also enables the transformation of the M10 V3 from a two-channel stereo amplifier into a wireless Dolby Digital home theater system. Using the BluOS app, users can wirelessly connect a second M10 V3 or other BluOS-enabled speakers, creating an immersive 4.1 home theater experience.

NAD has also integrated Dirac Live Bass Control into the M10 V3, enhancing its capabilities in bass management. Users can utilize Dirac’s app and room correction technology to measure their room’s acoustics, effectively eliminating standing waves, reverberations, and other unwanted distortions. The inclusion of Dirac Live Bass Control as an upgrade allows for optimization of subwoofer outputs in both time and frequency, providing a seamless audio response between subwoofers and main speakers. The new BC1 Remote Control that comes with the M10 V3 features an EQ button for selecting programmed Dirac filter profiles, adding to the overall user experience.

The NAD Masters M10 V3 BluOS Streaming Amplifier is currently available for purchase, priced at $2,499 in the United States, £1,999 in the UK, and €2,499 in Europe. This pricing includes the new BC1 Remote Control, enhancing the overall value of the product. NAD will be showcasing the M10 V3 at Booth 3517 during the CEDIA Expo 2024, taking place in Denver, Colorado, from September 5 to 7, 2024.

In conclusion, the NAD Masters M10 V3 BluOS Streaming Amplifier stands as a testament to the brand’s commitment to blending modern technology with classic audio experiences. With its advanced features, exceptional performance, and elegant design, it offers a compelling choice for music lovers seeking both quality and versatility in their audio systems. Whether streaming the latest releases or enjoying cherished vinyl records, the M10 V3 is poised to deliver an enriching audio experience that caters to a wide range of listening preferences.
