Hisense has officially released its PX4 Pro ultra short throw projector after first showcasing the premium model at CES 2026. Priced at $3,999.99, the projector is designed as a high-end alternative to traditional televisions, bringing the company’s flagship TriChroma RGB laser technology to home entertainment setups.
The PX4 Pro can project images ranging from 80 to 200 inches while sitting just a short distance from the wall. Its triple-laser light engine delivers 3,500 ANSI lumens of brightness and covers 118% of the BT.2020 color space. The projector also features Hisense’s CineBlack Pro system, which combines a seven-level adjustable iris with a claimed 6,500:1 contrast ratio to improve black levels, enhance shadow detail, preserve subtle gradients and maintain balanced brightness, even in rooms with ambient light.
Hisense has equipped the projector with premium home theater features, including support for Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and IMAX Enhanced content. Its integrated speaker system has been tuned by French audio company Devialet to deliver an enhanced audio experience without requiring external speakers.
The PX4 Pro runs on the VIDAA smart TV platform, giving users direct access to popular streaming services without the need for a separate streaming device. For gamers, Hisense says the projector is the world’s first ultra short throw laser projector to receive FreeSync Premium certification, offering smoother gameplay with reduced screen tearing and lower latency on displays up to 200 inches.
Positioned at the premium end of the market, the PX4 Pro competes with high-end ultra short throw projectors from Samsung, LG and Epson. The projector is available now in the United States through Hisense, Best Buy and Amazon.
