Satechi Launches 240W ChargeView Charger With Six USB-C Ports

Satechi has expanded its ChargeView lineup with the new ChargeView 240W Desktop Charger, a six-port USB-C power station designed to charge laptops, smartphones, tablets and other devices while showing real-time power consumption on a built-in color display.

The new charger builds on the company’s ChargeView 140W model, retaining its desktop-focused design, LCD screen and precision stand while increasing total power output to 240W. The color LCD provides live wattage readings for each connected device, allowing users to see how much power is being delivered through every port.

“With the ChargeView 140W, we set out to make desktop power more visible and the response confirmed that users want that clarity in their setup,” said Brock Guclu, Satechi’s co-founder and president. “ChargeView 240W takes that further, delivering the output that creators and professionals with demanding desks need without compromising on the design or the transparency that defines the collection.”

The charger uses next-generation gallium nitride, or GaN, technology to provide efficient and stable power delivery during extended desktop use. An integrated intelligent power controller detects the requirements of connected devices and automatically distributes available power among the active ports.

The six USB-C ports have different power capabilities. The C1 and C2 ports can each deliver up to 140W using USB PD 3.2 EPR AVS and also support USB PD 3.0 PPS. This enables fast charging for devices including the iPhone 17 series and later, while the PPS support is designed for compatibility with products such as Samsung’s Galaxy S25+ and Google’s Pixel 9+.

The C3 and C4 ports can provide up to 100W each, while C5 and C6 offer up to 30W each. All six ports support USB PD 3.0 PPS, although the charger’s combined output is limited to 240W, meaning available power is shared among connected devices according to their requirements.

The ChargeView 240W comes in Space Black with a metallic matte finish and a glossy, borderless display cover. Satechi designed the appearance to complement dark-colored workspaces and products such as the MacBook Pro and Apple Studio Display.

A precision stand is included and allows the charger to be positioned either vertically or horizontally. In horizontal mode, the stand angles the charger slightly toward the user for easier viewing while seated. Vertical placement reduces the charger’s footprint, helping conserve desk space.
