Trump Jr. Gets Threatening Letter with White Powder

Donald Trump Jr

Hazmat teams and emergency crews responded to an alarming situation at the Florida home of Donald Trump Jr., former President Donald Trump’s eldest son, after he received a threatening letter containing an unidentified white powder. The incident, reported by The Daily Beast, unfolded at Trump Jr.’s residence in Jupiter, Florida, where several fire trucks and hazmat-clad responders were seen outside.

According to reports, Trump Jr. discovered the letter in his home office and immediately alerted authorities. Along with the white substance, the letter contained a death threat. Efforts to identify the powder have been inconclusive, but authorities have reassured that it is not deadly.

The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the U.S. Secret Service, is leading the investigation into the matter. Trump Jr. shared a copy of the threatening letter with the Daily Caller, expressing concern over the frequency of such incidents, stating that if a similar situation occurred with a prominent Democrat, it would likely lead to congressional hearings.

This is not the first time Trump Jr.’s family has been targeted in such a manner. In 2018, his then-wife Vanessa Trump opened an envelope containing a white powder addressed to Trump Jr., which led to a hospital visit. Authorities later determined that the substance was harmless. Additionally, in 2016, a Massachusetts man was convicted for mailing letters containing white powder, including one sent to Eric Trump’s Manhattan apartment.
