Apple Enhances iPhone 15 Battery Life in iOS 17.4 Update

However, after re-testing, Apple found that these phones actually maintain 80% capacity after 1,000 cycles, which could extend the battery lifespan to more than three years with daily charging.

To validate these results, Apple performed 1,000 charge and discharge cycles under controlled conditions. While the specifics of these conditions were not disclosed, the findings suggest that the iPhone 15 series batteries are more durable than previously thought.
