Focal Introduces Hadenys and Azurys Deluxe Headphones

Renowned luxury French speaker and headphone manufacturer Focal has revealed two new additions to its premium headphone lineup. The Hadenys and Azurys headphones, both crafted in France using patented speaker drivers, offer a blend of comfort and aesthetic appeal.

The Hadenys, an open-back model, are designed for immersive home listening experiences. Inspired by the primordial eon known as the Hadean, these headphones feature a rich, earthy color scheme. They boast Focal’s signature honeycomb grilles, genuine leather accents, and a breathable woven fabric headband for comfort.

On the other hand, the Azurys are closed-back headphones suited for both home and on-the-go use. Focal targets music enthusiasts seeking the brand’s renowned sound quality in a more accessible package. The Azurys sport a distinctive blueish hue inspired by the semi-precious stone Azurite, creating a mesmerizing effect.

Both the Hadenys and Azurys headphones incorporate speaker drivers developed and manufactured in France at Focal’s Saint-Étienne workshops. These drivers, similar to those in Focal’s Bathys headphones, provide detailed, warm, and dynamic high-fidelity sound.

The Bathys headphones, introduced in October 2022, were Focal’s first wireless headphones with active noise-cancelling technology. The Hadenys and Azurys headphones will be available starting June 2024. The Hadenys are priced at $699 / £599 / €699, while the closed-back Azurys retail for $549 / £499 / €549. Each pair comes with a matching carrying case and all necessary cables.
