General Motors has expanded Corvette’s presence in the United Kingdom by naming luxury performance vehicle specialist Clive Sutton as the brand’s official retailer for London. The appointment gives customers across London and South East England easier access to Corvette’s growing range of right-hand-drive sports cars while supporting GM’s wider strategy to strengthen its position in the European market.
Buyers can now configure and order new Corvette models through Clive Sutton’s online platform, with selected vehicles available immediately and factory-built orders expected to arrive from October. A dedicated Corvette showroom is scheduled to open this summer at Clive Sutton’s new dealership in Staples Corner, north-west London, where the sports cars will be displayed alongside General Motors Specialty Vehicles, including Cadillac SUVs and Chevrolet trucks.
Jean-Pierre Diernaz, Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer of General Motors Europe, said London is one of the world’s leading destinations for performance cars and automotive enthusiasts, making it a natural location for Corvette’s continued expansion. He added that the partnership with Clive Sutton will give more customers the opportunity to experience Corvette’s combination of performance, everyday practicality and distinctive design.
The UK lineup begins with the mid-engine Corvette Stingray, priced from £97,570 ($129,134). Powered by a naturally aspirated V8 engine, the C8-generation Stingray remains the foundation of the Corvette range and has reshaped the model’s identity since its introduction.
Customers seeking higher performance can opt for the all-wheel-drive Corvette E-Ray, the first hybrid Corvette. Starting at £156,430 ($207,110), the electrified sports car accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds.
Sitting at the top of the lineup is the Corvette Z06, which starts at £182,730 ($242,000). The model features a 5.5-liter flat-plane-crank V8 producing 646 horsepower, along with track-focused suspension, carbon-ceramic brakes and aerodynamic enhancements designed for drivers seeking race-inspired performance on public roads.
Corvette also strengthened its motorsport reputation this year by winning the GT3 category at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The championship-winning race car is based on the Corvette C8 Z06, reinforcing the connection between the production model and Corvette’s racing success.
Clive Sutton founder Clive Sutton said the company is proud to introduce Corvette to London with a complete ownership experience that includes manufacturer-backed warranty coverage, financing options and comprehensive after-sales support. He added that the goal is to provide customers with confidence throughout every stage of Corvette ownership while introducing the iconic American sports car to both existing clients and new buyers.
In addition to vehicle sales, the retailer will provide specialist financing, servicing, genuine parts, accessories and factory-supported warranty services for every Corvette generation. Customers will also be able to configure fully UK-specification vehicles through a dedicated online configurator before placing their orders.
The latest appointment marks another milestone in General Motors’ efforts to rebuild Corvette’s officially supported right-hand-drive presence in the UK, giving British enthusiasts broader access to one of America’s best-known high-performance sports car brands.
