Samsung has announced an exclusive partnership with Activision for the upcoming first-person shooter “Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4,” naming Samsung the game’s official TV, monitor, soundbar and Wi-Fi speaker partner. The agreement is designed to connect Samsung’s display and audio products with one of the gaming industry’s biggest franchises while offering players several promotional opportunities.

As part of the deal, selected players can receive Beta Early Access codes through the Samsung Promotion App ahead of the game’s Open Beta. Samsung will also give attendees at Gamescom 2026 the chance to play “Modern Warfare 4” on premium Samsung Odyssey monitors before the game’s official release on October 23.

A major part of the partnership is the integration of HDR10+ Gaming into “Modern Warfare 4.” Samsung says the technology is intended to provide more precise color and contrast while creating a visual presentation that better reflects the developers’ creative direction. Samsung’s HDR-capable TVs and monitors already support HDR10+ gaming content.

The new game will also support a 32:9 super ultra-wide display format, allowing owners of Samsung’s Odyssey 9 monitors to see a wider field of view while playing. The feature is aimed at taking advantage of the expansive aspect ratio available on Samsung’s high-end gaming displays.

Cody Neal, Activision’s head of partnerships, said Samsung’s display and gaming technologies offer an exciting way to experience “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.” He said the partnership would allow Activision to showcase the game with “clarity, scale and responsiveness” suited to its fast-paced gameplay.

Samsung is also using its Gaming Hub to give TV owners access to “Call Of Duty: NEXT.” Most Samsung TVs and some monitors will be able to stream the event live on August 21 at 9 a.m. PT, or 6 p.m. BST. A promotional banner for the event will appear prominently in the Gaming Hub before the broadcast.

Players selected for Samsung’s Beta Early Access promotion can test the game between August 21 and August 25, ahead of the Open Beta’s August 28 start. Users can check the Samsung TV Gaming Hub for information about available codes and event details.

Samsung Gaming Hub is integrated into the company’s Tizen smart platform. The dedicated interface provides access to cloud gaming services, including Xbox Cloud Gaming, along with other supported gaming services and content without requiring users to switch devices.

Gamescom 2026 will take place in Cologne, Germany, from August 26 through August 30. Visitors to Samsung’s booth will be able to play “Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4” on Odyssey monitors, while selected attendees will also receive “Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4” Vault Edition Battle.net game codes.

“We are pleased to be the official TV, monitor, soundbar and Wi-Fi speaker partner for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, bringing players a more immersive experience through Samsung’s premium display and audio technologies,” said Hun Lee, executive vice president of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business. He added that Samsung would continue collaborating with leading developers to strengthen gaming experiences across its display lineup.
