Paramount+ has officially announced the renewal of the beloved animated preschool series “Dora,” paving the way for a second season filled with exciting escapades in a fantastical rainforest. The renewal comes as a testament to the series’ enduring popularity and positive reception, arriving less than two weeks after the debut of the highly anticipated Dora the Explorer reboot.

Jeff Grossman, Executive Vice President of Programming at Paramount+, expressed his excitement about the renewal, highlighting the consistent popularity of kids and family programming on the platform. “We’re thrilled that our audience has already embraced Dora,” Grossman stated, emphasizing the show’s strong connection with viewers.

The return of Dora signifies more than just the continuation of a beloved series; it represents a celebration of multiculturalism and diversity. The character of Dora, with her bilingual abilities and inclusive worldview, serves as a role model for children around the world, promoting acceptance and understanding of different cultures.

The new season of “Dora,” produced by Nickelodeon Animation, promises to deliver a captivating blend of education and entertainment. In the 2024 reboot of the series, Dora is voiced by 10-year-old Diana Zermeño, adding a fresh and vibrant voice to the character. Kathleen Herles, the original voice of Dora the Explorer, returns to voice Mami, adding a nostalgic touch for long-time fans of the series.

“Dora” is currently available for streaming exclusively on Paramount+ in several countries, including the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, Latin America, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
