Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson Fight Rescheduled to November

Jake Paul and Mike Tyson

Jake Paul and Mike Tyson’s highly anticipated boxing match has been rescheduled for November. Originally slated for July 20, the event was postponed due to Tyson’s ulcer flare-up in late May. The new date, November 15, will still see the showdown at the AT&T Stadium near Dallas, with global broadcast coverage on Netflix, as announced by Most Valuable Promotions on Friday morning.

Most Valuable Promotions ensured that the rescheduled date would allow both fighters “equal training time” while aligning with the Dallas Cowboys season, as the event remains at AT&T Stadium. Tyson, undeterred by the delay, stated that “the result will be the same no matter when we fight. Jake Paul is getting knocked out.” Paul, equally confident, predicted a knockout, stating his respect for Tyson but emphasizing the need to “end him.”

Ticket holders can rest assured as purchased tickets will be honored for the new date, and refunds are available until July 8. The fight is set to take place in the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium, promising a colossal event.

Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions had initially announced the fight in March, billing it as a “once-in-a-lifetime dream matchup” that could become “the most-watched boxing event in modern history.” Jake Paul, known for his YouTube fame and pro wrestling stint in 2020, has been making waves in the boxing world. Meanwhile, Tyson, revered as one of the greatest boxers of all time, sees this fight as a significant comeback, having not competed since his 2020 exhibition match against Roy Jones.

Adding to the night’s excitement, the fight coincides with what’s being touted as the “most anticipated rewatch in women’s boxing history” between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano. Billed as co-main events, Tyson remarked that including one of the greatest fights in women’s boxing history “is a true gift to fans.” Taylor’s victory over Serrano in 2022 marked the first women’s boxing match to headline Madison Square Garden, adding another layer of excitement to an already historic night.
