Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Offer Includes Unreleased Galaxy Watch

Samsung has unveiled its latest smartwatch in a special offer accompanying the launch of the Galaxy S24. The promotion surprised customers by bundling a new Galaxy smartwatch with the purchase of the new smartphone. However, the bundled Galaxy Watch FE is not currently available for purchase.

While offering accessories with a new smartphone is a common strategy, Samsung has taken it a step further since the introduction of the Galaxy S24 family in January. The company has been offering a range of incentives, including extra storage, subscriptions, exclusive colors, and peripherals, to drive sales of the new smartphones.

This aggressive marketing approach has contributed to the success of the S24 platform. According to Counterpoint Research, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has been the best-selling GenAI-capable smartphone, commanding over 30% market share, which is more than the combined share of the next two smartphones.

As part of a mid-season refresh of the range, Samsung is expected to offer the handset with a new range of peripherals, including the Galaxy Watch Fan Edition. This approach is likely to attract more consumers to Samsung’s wearables platform.

The Galaxy Watch Fan Edition is expected to offer hardware that delivers most of the features of a larger device but at a more cost-effective price. Bundling an S24 with a Watch FE is expected to be an attractive and value-for-money deal.

However, it’s worth noting that Samsung has not officially announced the Watch FE yet. As a result, the offer is not currently listed on the website. Nevertheless, it is expected to return when the Galaxy Watch FE launches later this month, with many commentators pointing to June 24th as the launch date.
