Bruno Mars And Karol G Score Major Billboard Milestones

Bruno Mars

Bruno Mars and Karol G are adding new milestones to their Billboard careers after their collaboration “Still” debuted across four charts this week. The song arrives as Mars continues a strong run from his latest album, “The Romantic,” which was released earlier this year following an extended break between solo projects.

“Still” opens at No. 23 on Digital Song Sales, No. 37 on Adult Pop Airplay, No. 41 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 124 on the Billboard Global 200. The song did not enter the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, which tracks worldwide consumption without U.S. activity.

The new collaboration gives Mars his 25th career appearance on the Adult Pop Airplay chart. Sixteen of his entries have reached the top 10, including five that climbed to No. 1. His latest chart-topper on the radio ranking was “I Just Might,” which reached No. 1 in March and remained there for nine consecutive weeks.

“Still” currently matches “Please Me,” Mars’ collaboration with Cardi B, as his lowest debut on the Adult Pop Airplay chart. “Please Me” also entered the ranking at No. 37 more than five years ago and did not climb higher.

The song also marks Mars’ 45th appearance on the Billboard Hot 100. With “Still” starting at No. 41, it falls just outside the top 40. Twenty-two of his Hot 100 entries have reached the top 10, while 10 have climbed to No. 1. Among those chart leaders is “I Just Might,” which debuted at the top in January and spent nearly a month at No. 1.

Karol G is reaching a Hot 100 milestone of her own. Several songs from her latest album debut on the chart this week, bringing the Colombian singer’s career total to 40 Hot 100 appearances. Those new entries join other songs from the album that reached the ranking earlier this year.

“Still” also doubles Karol G’s career total on the Adult Pop Airplay chart. Her first appearance came in May 2020 through “X,” her collaboration with the Jonas Brothers. That song eventually peaked at No. 15.
