Baseus’ Bowie MC2 open-ear earbuds have dropped to their lowest price since launch, making the lightweight audio device an even stronger value option. Introduced in June 2026 with an $80 price tag, the earbuds are currently listed for $60 on Amazon, with an additional $10 discount available using the promo code MC2OWSPR, reducing the final price to $50.
Designed with a clip-on form factor, each earbud weighs just 5.1 grams, placing most of the weight behind the ear for improved comfort during extended listening sessions. The speaker unit rests near the ear canal and includes removable silicone cushions for a more comfortable fit. The earbuds are suitable for workouts and outdoor activities, although users may need to make occasional adjustments when sweating.
The Bowie MC2 carries an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, allowing it to withstand rain and sweat. Even during exercise, the earbuds remain secure, though slight repositioning may be needed to maintain optimal sound quality.
Baseus has upgraded the audio hardware with 11mm drivers, replacing the 10.8mm drivers used in the earlier MC1 Pro. The earbuds support AAC, SBC and LDAC audio codecs, along with multipoint Bluetooth connectivity that enables simultaneous pairing with two devices.
Audio performance has also been improved, delivering cleaner sound with balanced bass, crisp treble and a wider soundstage while preserving awareness of surrounding sounds through the open-ear design. Each earbud includes two microphones for voice calls, helping reduce background noise and providing clear voice quality during conversations.
Instead of touch-sensitive controls, the Bowie MC2 uses physical buttons for playback, volume adjustment and other functions. Users can further personalize the controls and equalizer settings through the Baseus companion app.
Battery life remains one of the earbuds’ biggest strengths. Baseus says the MC2 can provide between 11.5 and 13 hours of playback on a single charge, depending on audio settings, while the charging case extends total listening time to as much as 55 hours. A 10-minute quick charge also delivers up to three hours of playback, adding to the earbuds’ convenience for everyday use.
With upgraded sound quality, extended battery life, durable construction and a significant price reduction, the Baseus Bowie MC2 has become one of the most competitively priced open-ear earbuds currently available.
