Swedish audio technology company Atonemo has partnered with NTS Radio to introduce the Atonemo NTS Radio Player, a compact Wi-Fi streaming device designed to bring NTS’s curated radio channels and extensive mixtape catalog to a wide range of speakers and audio systems. The new product aims to offer listeners an alternative to algorithm-driven music recommendations by providing access to carefully selected programming from NTS’s global network of broadcasters and DJs.
Developed around the concept of effortless music discovery, the Atonemo NTS Radio Player allows users to connect almost any speaker or amplifier to NTS’s programming with a simple press of a button. Once activated, listeners can explore a variety of music selections, from niche jazz broadcasts originating in Tokyo to DJ sets from South London and countless other genres from around the world. Users can also switch back to their own music libraries or preferred streaming services through their smartphones whenever they choose.
The device builds on the recently launched Atonemo Streamplayer and is engineered to work with a broad range of audio equipment, including vintage amplifiers, bookshelf speakers and modern hi-fi systems. Measuring 70 x 105 x 23mm, the compact streamer can be easily placed out of sight while remaining connected through its 3.5mm analog audio output.
Supporting high-resolution audio playback up to 24-bit/192kHz, the player integrates with major streaming platforms and protocols, including AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect. Installation is designed to be straightforward, requiring only a USB-C power connection and the included RCA-to-AUX cable to link the device to an audio system.
The collaboration reflects the shared values of both companies. For more than a decade, NTS has focused on showcasing music and sounds from across the globe that are often overlooked by mainstream algorithm-based services. Meanwhile, Atonemo’s approach centers on helping users enjoy music through the audio equipment they already own rather than encouraging the purchase of new hardware.
“We think of this as omakase listening: you hand over the decision to someone whose taste you trust, and you get something better than anything you’d have chosen yourself. NTS has been doing that for over a decade. We just wanted to make sure you could hear it on speakers worthy of the music,” said Noah Constantinou, co-founder of Atonemo.
The Atonemo NTS Radio Player became available through Atonemo’s website on June 19, 2026. The device is priced at $169 in the United States, £129 in the United Kingdom and €149 across Europe. It features a 3.5mm analog audio output, USB-C power input, support for 24-bit/192kHz audio playback, compatibility with AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect, and can be used alongside the Atonemo Streamplayer with virtually any amplifier or powered speaker.
